EMILE ORANGEÉmile is a french painter and graphic designer living & working in Caen (France), with a strong taste for neon colors and realistic paintings.
He his animated by prosaic situations of the daily life and is influenced by photography, cinema and the desire to narration. He pursue the objective of showing his world by telling stories, having as a reference the cold light uses by Edward Hopper, Jacques Monory or Zico Albaiquni. |
"The images that I choose to include in
my paintings are read alone or come together with each other, creating a dialogue and a new sense of reading. This plastic game, metaphor of a symptomatic duality of our time, raises a questioning around images populating our daily life and our ability to create links between them without anything linking them." |
His art already traveled in France and abroad as he exhibited some of his paintings in the Galerie DETAIS (Paris) and at BUBAHOF (Prague), and he already helped the Ethno Kult crew with some beautiful scenography on their stage at Mantis Festival (NL).
