KEIMO

Keimo is a multidisciplinary artist, a "vivid, happy liquid organic soul". Starting as a photographer/designer, trained as a violinist since a young age, he lately has been delivering multicultural vibes as a DJ in parties and festivals around Europe and South-East Asia. Known for his organic & psychedelic selections, he loves crossing borders between genres, from Downtempo to House/Deep House, Techno, Leftfield and everything in between.

Growing up in a cosmopolitan neighborhood in Paris, born from a Finnish mother and an Algerian father with hispanic and Italian roots, Keimo the wanderer is himself a melting pot. Travelling and nomadic adventures are part of his being and has been a great influence in constructing his art and sound. The main reflexion he explores in his photography works questions movement and symmetry, and how they can bring life to a static image. His tools? A Mamiya press universal, coupled with instant Fujifilm and Polaroid films, and a big amount of travel!

The last couple of years, Keimo has been based in Kampot, Cambodia. There he  co-created KanoPi, a collective meant to share quality underground music, along with positive and conscious community values around the marvellous south east asian jungle. A big participation and a new organic wave of electronic music to a still young and emerging Cambodian scene!

"Feel free to get in touch if you pass by!"
Playing music without borders, floating between fruity punchy grooves, hypnotic patterns and worldwide beats, he began playing around with the Curuba family and Shimon's Tangerine collective earlier this year, making a few apparences with Ditti, one of his recent partners in crimes.
