     TI' LAB

Ti’Lab is a young artist studying graphism and illustration in Montpellier (FR). Imbued with hip-hop culture and inspired by artists such as Aryz, Bom.K, Julien Loïs, he quickly got closer to street-art through the use of the spraypaint, and got interested in the formats and the atmosphere that some urban spaces offer. Handy, he composes his artworks with various techniques, from traditional mediums to digital painting, through sculpture, pyrography, and more.

In a series called "STREET SOULS", Ti'Lab seeks to represent urban filth in the form of ghosts from the guts of the city, with a marked and wrinkled face, blisters and deformities. Ashes, dust, concrete, garbage cans ... The traces of our existence are often gray. Made with bombs and markers on salvage material, each "soul" is associated with a natural or artificial element. This series reflects a certain humanization of the city itself, this space which shelters us but with the moods that this implies since it accepts our waste, it remains open to a continual evolution by changing mediums and techniques and remains a major vision that the artist wants to explore.
