A n l z

AnLz, our 13th EthnoKaster, is a Mexican DJ & producer based in Ciudad de México. His name derives from the word "analysis", and arises from the need for more depth in nuances of all our senses, Started in 2006, the AnLz project emerged invites its listeners to introspection and reflection through different perspectives, through street art or electronic music happenings.

Living in close proximity with nature, in mountains surrounding the Valley of México, it influenced AnLz to organically blend genres, with Prehispanic, ancestral & mystical sounds, enveloping and meditative flavors, from soft rhythms to strong percussions, to euphoria and psychedelia.

Currently the project derived towards more peaceful atmospheres, merging the psychology of colors, sounds, and their frequencies.

AnLz's sound is Influenced by many different genres and producers, but a shift happened in 2010 when he discovered DJ Sense (Sounds of Earth), who pushed the scene forward, collaborating in different events, creating together a series of events gathering DJs and local producers of national stature with groups like TechTalk, Tribal Radio or Indalo Records

These last two years he incorporated this style in a couple of tracks, on the small imprint Mistycal Vibes, in which he develops and experiments with genres such as dub, downtempo, slowdance and other ethereal rhythms.
