V.As comfortable in drawing as in the use of digital softwares, he likes to represent characters (including cats, which is something we really respect at Ethno Kult), objects or situations, under the influence of underground street art and styles mixed with Asian elements, such as the detailed repetitive patterns characteristic of Hokusai prints and other Japanese or Chinese masters.
Defining his works as "dirty" but meticulous, V. makes of this mixture of techniques and impressions one of his great strengths. His style, very recognizable and eye-catchy, is really demanded, and he recently had the opportunity to exhibit in several occasions in his city, and even on the water (Chill & Boat party).

V. is a graphic designer from Caen, where he study at the famous art & design school Brassart.
Here is one of his last works : a mechanical Geisha framed by curbs depicting a playing card. He was mainly inspired by the animated movie masterpiece Akira, and just like the anime he wanted to make merge traditional Japan with futurism and technology to make these robotic and medieval elements contrast.
