Diego, aka Di Laif, is a musician and producer from Antigua Guatemala, former capital city of Guatemala. Coming from an instrumental approach of music, his sound is a mixture of solid electronic bases and organic, tribal or native culture elements from various parts of the world. He has reached with his sound some of the largest and most important festivals in Guatemala such as: Cosmic Convergence, Magik Festival or Voices From The Lake.
In parallel, he is also part of the collective Mazukamba Beats, promoter of world fusion electronic music, well and established with more than 150 events in various places such as La Antigua Guatemala, Lake Atitlán, Guatemala City and El Paredón beach.

Di Laif has already seen his sound published on some of the most groundbreaking labels of the electro-organic world scene such as Shika Shika Collective (co-founded by El Búho and Barrio Lindo), and his stringy and percussive debut EP "Los Siete Días" on the transatlantic imprint QTZLCTL (founded by Nicolá Cruz and Gorka Molero).
Also featured in compilations of Basy Tropikalne (POL) and the international NUMA. Currently, the Antigüeño artist is preparing the release of his new EP "Cantos De Fuerza", accompanied by a tour of Europe this coming summer.
